EXPECTATION
You will see the results of your treatment almost immediately. However, it is very important to understand that your lips will be swollen and you may have potential bruising that can last up to 7 days. Final results can take up to 2 weeks while the filler is integrating and softening into the lip tissue and all swelling has resolved. It is recommended not to have lip filler treatment if you have an important event within a week after treatment, vaccinations within 2 weeks of treatment and flying.

SIDE EFFECTS
– Bleeding from the injection sites.
– Swelling and bruising.
– Redness and tenderness at the site of the injection.
– Reactivation of cold sores (herpes simplex virus) of the lips or area surrounding the lips.
AFTERCARE
– Apply a cool compress to lips intermittently on the day of treatment – Do not apply ice directly on the skin!
– Sleep with your head slightly elevated
– Avoid strenuous exercise – and do not expose area to intense heat (i.e. solarium’s, sauna, excessive sun exposure) for 24 hrs
– Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
